In design today

Residential buildings across Dubai, from a boutique address by Sheikh Zayed Road to a low-rise crescent in Dubailand. Drawings and visuals are preliminary and will follow the approved design.

Design

Modern first, with an Arabic accent

The interiors are contemporary: stone, timber, plaster, linen. The Arabic note is carried by a few deliberate details, never by ornament for its own sake.

The screen

A mashrabiya pattern in bronze or timber, used once per room to filter light.

The arch

Slender plaster arches at thresholds and niches, without capitals or carving.

The majlis

Low seating arranged to face each other, so the living room is for conversation.

The material

Travertine, fluted oak, aged bronze and linen. Warm, matte and made to age well.

AlRais is an Emirati family name. We build in the city we live in, and we take from its architecture what still works: shade, privacy, and a door that is open to guests.

From first meeting to agreement

You tell us about the plot or the capital. We sign a confidentiality agreement.

02Feasibility

We model the plot: allowable area, cost, market evidence and returns for each side.

03Structure

We agree the partnership model, shares, responsibilities and reporting.

04Agreement

Documents are signed and the design team is appointed.
